Upright Variety

Spreading Variety

    Compact habit with appealing, arching branches. Foliage is a brilliant mint green.

  • Chinensis ‘Old Gold’ — Old Gold Juniper
    Slow growing, compact spreader with golden, lacy growth.

  • Conferta ‘Blue Pacific’ — Blue Pacific Juniper
    Ground cover, low trailing habit and ocean blue-green foliage color. Used in foundation plantings – looks especially lovely draped over retaining walls.

  • Hetzii Pom Pom — Hetzii Pom Pom Juniper
    Green foliage pruned into pompoms. Wider than tall with 5-7 branches emerging from a central base.

    Fine feathery, silver-blue color foliage. Low mounding and spreading habit.

    Feathery, scale-like, chartreuse juvenile foliage turning copper-bronze in winter. Slowly spreads and prefers a dry, sandy soil.

    Ground-hugging plant featuring steely-blue foliage all season long, reasonably compact; extremely adaptable and hardy. Purple tinged tips.

    Compact, dense foliage, bright green new growth in spring, deep green in summer, bronze-green in fall and bronze-purple winter color. Good plant for contrast.

  • Procumbens ‘Nana’ — Japanese Garden Juniper
    Blue-green foliage that arches gracefully at the tips. Extremely adaptable, slow growing with blue berries from late spring right through to late winter.

  • Dabina — Savin Juniper
    A very hardy evergreen. Adaptable for tough city conditions. Semi-upright growth habit.

  • Sabina ‘Monna’ — Calgary Carpet Juniper
    A low growing, spreading evergreen with attractive overlapping branches and soft green foliage.

  • Sabina ‘Tamariskifolia’ — Tamarix Juniper
    Attractive feathery green foliage with a low spreading, bushy, growth habit.

  • Squamata ‘Blue Star’ — Dwarf Blue Star Juniper
    Bushy, loosely dome-shaped form. Slow grower with silvery-blue, prickly foliage. One of the most popular compact junipers.

    Standard specimen, icy blue juniper which is attractive year round. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils and some drought.

  • Virginiana ‘Grey Owl’ — Grey Owl Juniper
    Bluish-green, fine-textured foliage with showy blue berries in late spring. Adaptable to both dry and moist conditions.
